Augur Press was established in 2004. We publish books which enable the reader to reflect, and to look beyond or behind that which is immediately apparent.
Mirabelle Maslin, author of Beyond the Veil and creator of Augur Press, was approached to write our first title, Tracy, because of concern about the dearth of modern literature that would help young people to understand their emotions and dilemmas. In Tracy the characters are enabled to strengthen their relationships with adults - in ways that benefit everyone.
Building on the positive reaction to our initial publications, Augur Press continues to grow with new authors and titles.
